The beginning of our story is probably a lot like others. We married 40 years ago and learned to sail on a Force Five 14 foot sailboat. We carried our dream of owning a sailboat through the years raising our son. We traveled a lot Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii and spent some time on the water but never pursued our dream. Nearing retirement we purchased a Catalina 30 and sailed her on the San Francisco Bay on the weekends. May 2014 we sold that boat and our home of 26 years, Cindy retired and we moved onto a 41 foot sailboat on the San Diego Bay to ready her for cruising. October 2014 we set sail with the Baja Ha Ha for Mexico. During our second year cruising we sailed to Panama and transited the canal June 2016 eventually making our way through the Western Caribbean up to the east coast of the US. We sold Sereno II in April 2019 and are now cruising the Intercoastal Waterway on ‘At Ease’ our Nordic Tug 32.
